"There is much to admire in your group with exceptional individual playing and attention to detail. You each display a wide assortment of color and nuance, which I really appreciate." - Norman Fischer
The Quantum Clarinet Trio - winner of the third prize at the 2020 Fischoff Chamber Music Competition (USA) - met for the first time in 2013 at the University Mozarteum of Salzburg. There, the three young musicians developed together the main repertoire conceived for this ensemble under the guidance of Prof. Alois Brandhofer (Berliner Philharmoniker) and Prof. Wolfgang Redik (Wiener Klaviertrio).
Their special musical chemistry encouraged the Trio to continue their artistic activity together. The Quantum Clarinet Trio is ensemble in residence at the Moulin d’Andé Centre Culturel et Artistique in Normandie, France. They are committed to bringing their performances alive by sharing the context and rich histories behind the music they play with the audience.
The ensemble, characterized by their unique cultural mix and strong musical tradition gained during years of studies in Austria, Germany, Italy, France and Korea, developed a passionate and lively interpretation of the repertoire.
Their repertoire includes masterpieces dedicated over centuries to the clarinet, cello and piano trio, rediscovered treasures hidden in the history of music, and unique contemporary compositions challenging the limits of their instruments.
The Quantum Clarinet Trio appears regularly on the international chamber music scene bringing a wealth of cultural and musical experience, constantly growing and evolving. Upcoming season highlights include performances in France, Germany and Italy.
