DAVIDOFF TRIO
Founded in September 2020 under the impression of the Corona pandemic, the Davidoff Trio pursues one main goal: to bring the joy of collaborative music-making of any musical genre to the outside world. First concerts lead the young piano trio already to various places in Germany, Switzerland and Italy. From the beginning, they have been taught and supported by Prof. Thomas Demenga (Basel Music Academy) and Prof. Sae-Nal Lea Kim (Mainz University of Music) as well as Emanuel Wehse (Morgenstern Trio). From October 2021, the trio receives regular chamber music lessons from Prof. Boris Kusnezow at Leipzig University of Music.
As part of the digital chamber music competition "Kammer?Musik!" of Junge Deutsche Philharmonie, the trio won a coaching project in collaboration with the Ensemble Modern in April 2021. In September 2021 the Trio was given the opportunity for a two-week study visit to San Ginesio (Italy) from the chairman of the Junge Deutsche Philharmonie's board of trustees, Eckhard Sachse.
