Martina Consonni possesses a strong technical ability combined with a rare musical intelligence that allows her to touch a vast truth of styles with her personal touch. The concert artist Martina Consonni is one of the most promising young Italian artists of her generation.
Born in Como in 1997, she can already boast a diploma in piano at the age of fourteen with full marks and honors, a debut with the orchestra at the age of ten, more than 55 first prizes in national and international competitions and an intense concert activity in Italy and abroad, both as a soloist and in chamber ensembles.
At the age of fourteen she was the youngest competitor and winner of the "Casella Prize" at the prestigious "Premio Venezia" competition, thanks to which she attracted the attention of many Italian concert seasons, holding several concerts which were welcomed with great success by the public and criticism. He has held solo recitals all over the world, remember those at Palazzo Marino in Milan, at the Mozart Hall of the Bologna Philharmonic Academy, at the Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome, at the Debussy Museum in Paris, at the St. Stephen Church in New York and the Royal Albert Hall in London.
Her love for chamber music led her to perform in various chamber music festivals collaborating with numerous instrumentalists including Enrico Dindo, Enrico Bronzi, Francesca Dego, Daniel Palmizio, Francesca Bonaita, Edoardo Zosi and Francesco Dillon.
In 2021 he also obtained the prestigious Daniele Gay Award, reserved for one of the best young Italian talents of classical music.
He has also made several recordings for Venice Classic Radio and for the independent label Movimento Classical of Bartok Studio.
He is currently attending the Master's in solo performance at the Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien in Hannover with Arie Vardi, the International Academy of Meetings with the Maestro of Imola under the guidance of Enrico Pace and the Kronberg Academy with Sir Andreas Schiff.
