BARTOLOMEJ STANKOVIĆ, was born in 1988 in town Zenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Bartolomej graduated a Master degree of piano music in class of prof.em. Pavica Gvozdić on Music Academy of Zagreb after 5 years of studying with prof. Gvozdić with diploma programme of two important romantic piano works – Franz Liszt: Sonata in B minor and M.P.Mussorgsky: Pictures an exhibition. He started to learn piano in 1997. in class of prof. Bahrija Šabanović in Elementary Music School Avdo Smajlović in Visoko in Bosnia and Herzegovina. He played on many public concerts and won two 3rd prizes on Federal competitions in Mostar and Bihać, Bosnia and Herzegovina. In class of prof. Angelina Bojović-Pap, he finished High Music School in Sarajevo in 2006, and gained a significant number of awards. Among them are 1st Prize on Festival of F.Chopin's music (Tuzla 2004.); Absolute Prize on Federal competition (Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina 2005.) and 1st Prize in category piano duo on Federal competition (2006.). He attended many masterclasses of eminent piano such as Andrej Pisarev, Grigory Gruzman, Naum Grubert, Peter Eicher and others.
Regulary participated as a student demonstrator on Music Academy of Zagreb, and gave lectures on the courses of Music Form, History of Music, Piano literature and Analysis of piano interpretations, and in 2007. and 2011. he gave lectures on Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, University of Zagreb, introduced students and professors a connection beetwen music and acoustics – Piano – the history and structure, a project for which he received the Rector's prize of University of Zagreb in 2010/2011. academic year. Participates in organisation of concert cycle Virtuoso and in 2010/2011. season was art director of Cultural Association Tilia in Lipik. He performed on concerts of cycle Virtuoso and concerts of Foundation Musik&Jugend from Liechenstein, in Zagreb and many other towns in Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Italy where he held many piano recitals. He performed with Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Ildous Galioulline in Dubrovnik 2010., and played P.I.Tchaikovsky's First Piano Concerto. In academic 2010/2011 year he performed many times on concerts of HRProject led by prof. Katarina Krpan, including a concert with the president of Croatia Mr. dr.sci. Ivo Josipović.
From academic year 2011/2012. Bartolomej is studying postgraduate course on pianistic Steinway Academy of Steinway Society in Verona, with Maestro Federico Gianello, a former pupil of legendary pianist Lazar Berman.
